Everything you need to know about your song, photos and optional video.
How does it work?
Tell us who the song is for, choose your sound and share your memories. Generate your lyrics, review or edit them, then create your recording. Listen to a preview and choose the version you want before paying.
How much does a custom song cost?
A 1 minute song is $14.99, a 2 minute song is $24.99, and a 3 minute song is $34.99. An optional photo slideshow is $4.99, purchased separately.
Can I listen before I pay?
Yes. You can hear a preview of up to one minute before purchasing. Your full recording and lyrics unlock after payment is confirmed.
Do I need to write my own lyrics?
No. Share your story and AI will write lyrics for you. You can edit the words before generating your recording, or use the option to paste your own original lyrics.
What should I include in my story?
Include names, your relationship, favorite memories, personality, inside jokes and the message you want them to hear. Tell us anything you want left out. More personal details help make the lyrics feel like your story.
Can I choose the genre, language and voice?
Yes. Choose your genre, mood, vocals, tempo and song length. Enter your preferred language and choose a pronunciation setting. The initial vocal delivery automatically follows your genre. Describe a sound rather than requesting a copy of a specific singer or song.
How do I help the song pronounce a name correctly?
Use the Names and pronunciation field to spell the name the way it sounds. For example: Sharifah sounds like shuh REE fuh. Check the pronunciation in your preview before buying.
How long does song creation take?
Your recording is generated automatically while you wait. Processing time can vary. Keep the page open while it works. Once your recording is ready, you can preview it without waiting for a manual production queue.
Can I compare versions or request changes?
Yes. Your first generation automatically creates three versions to compare. Choose your favorite, or request changes using two shared revisions included at no extra charge. You can change lyrics or musical direction and compare the saved recordings. After your two included revisions, additional song revisions are $5.00 each with no total limit. Each revision creates one new recording while keeping your earlier recordings. Video purchases are separate. Each generation depends on studio availability.
What do I receive after payment?
Your confirmed song purchase unlocks the full digital audio recording and lyrics. Use the download buttons on your confirmation page and save that page link so you can return to your downloads. A video is an optional separate purchase.
Is a music video included with my song?
No. A slideshow made from up to 20 of your own photos is an additional $4.99. Upload your memories, arrange them and preview your design before exporting.
Can I upload my own photos?
Yes. Choose the $4.99 slideshow option and upload up to 20 photos. Use JPG, PNG or WebP files, up to 8 MB each and 150 MB total. Arrange the photos after your song is generated.
When do my selected photos upload?
Photos selected in the song form upload when your recording is ready. Keep the page open during generation. Selecting files alone does not mean they have already been saved.
Can I make the video on my phone?
You can explore the page and select your song preferences on mobile. Before purchasing a video, use the video compatibility check. For creating and exporting an MP4, use an up to date Chrome or Edge browser on a computer.
Will my song or photos appear on your website?
Only if you choose the optional permission checkbox allowing us to share your content as an example. Leaving it unchecked keeps your content out of public examples and does not affect your purchase. Contact us to withdraw permission for future use.
What occasions can I create a song for?
Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations, motherhood, memorials, friendships, pets, business celebrations or just because. Tell us the occasion and the feeling you want the song to carry.
Where and how can I use my song?
It’s your song. Enjoy it, post it on social media, upload it to YouTube, use it for your business, or share it with friends and loved ones. When you post, don’t forget to include #SharifahAI so we can celebrate your story with you.
What if my payment is processing or my download is missing?
Wait for payment confirmation and refresh your confirmation page. If you already paid and your download is still unavailable, contact us before making another payment. Include your order details so we can investigate.
How do I get help?
Use Contact Us in the top menu or email sharifah@asksharifah.com. You can also call (888) 976-8709. Include the email used for your order and a clear description of what you need. Never send your card details.
Can I return later to change my song?
Yes. Save the order number on your payment confirmation. Visit Find My Song, enter your order number and checkout email, then open the private access link we email you. Listen to your saved versions and request changes whenever you like. After the two included revisions, each additional song revision costs $5.00. A failed generation leaves your paid revision available to retry.
